The Aleph William Blake used to say that we can see the infinite in a grain of sand and eternity in a flower. In truth, a simple moment of inner harmony is enough for that to happen. That is where the great problem resides: we almost never allow ourselves to realize that the present moment in itself holds all the glory. Sometimes, it expresses itself in a completely casual manner. You are walking in the street, sit in a certain place and suddenly the entire universe is right there. The first thing that comes up is a huge desire to cry – not for sadness, neither for happiness, but simply to show emotion. You know you are comprehending something, even if you are not even able to explain it to yourself. In the magic tradition, this type of perception is known as “diving into the Aleph.” Human beings have an enormous difficulty in concentrating their minds on the present moment; we are always thinking of what we have done, how we could have done it better, what the consequences of our actions will be and why didn’t we act as we should have. Or still, we worry about the future, what will we do tomorrow, what measures will we have to take, what dangers are waiting for us at the corner, how to avoid what we don’t want and how to attain what we have always dreamed of. And so, we begin to wonder if there is really something wrong with us. Yes, there is. It is called routine. You think there is something wrong because you are unhappy. Others live for their problems; they keep talking compulsively about them – problems with children, husbands, school, work, friends. They don’t stop to think: I am here. I am the result of everything that happened and that will happen, but I am here. If there is something wrong I have done, I have the power to correct it or at least apologize for it. If there is something I did right, that makes me happier and I feel more connected to the present moment. Concentrate yourself in your Aleph and you will see that a little confidence in life doesn’t hurt at all – much on the contrary, it will allow you to experience everything with much more intensity. The things that disturb your life lie in the past and are awaiting your future decisions. They numb you and they pollute you and they don’t let you understand the present. Working with experience only means repeating old solutions on new problems. I know many people who are only able to have an individual identity when they start talking about their problems because these problems are connected to what they judge to be ‘their story’. Morihei Ueshiba, the founder of Aikido, a well known martial art, used to say, “The search for peace is a way of praying, which ends up generating light and warmth. Forget a little about yourself, know that wisdom and compassion lay in that warmth. As you walk through this planet, seek to notice the true form of the heavens and of the Earth; it is possible if you don’t let yourself be paralyzed by fear and decide that all your gestures and attitudes will correspond to what you think.” If you trust life, life will trust you.

Chant
How blind could I have been for doing something subconciosuly wrong? I beleived that what I was doing was not wrong and tried to justify that the other person was wrong. After all this time, it was desperation that has gotten the best of me. My desperation turned me into an angry, frustrated person. This has led to the seperation from many people who were once close to me…

Choice in Love
The “love of your life” or “the one for you” is by choice. The universe puts people in your path to choose. Therefore, “the one” can be anyone. A “mutual choice” creates two love birds to join as one. Choice. If you and the other person did not work out, it was because of choice. Everything we do is choice. The universe guides us, tests us, and even helps us with many things (people, job, money, joy, love, etc) as long as we CHOOSE. This accounts for both negative and positive aspects. What you choose, you will get. If you want something different, choose a different course of action. Be sure to take responsibility of those actions.

Manifest abundance even in a recession…
|
Below is a blog post by Masting Kipp: Founder of The Daily Love. ================ Here’s a major block to getting what you want: scarcity or lack of consciousness. What’s that mean? It means believing that there is not enough to go around. Doesn’t matter what you think it is, this applies to all forms of manifestations. Love, money, success, happiness, whatever. Buying into the belief that there is not enough will only hinder you. Why? Well, first of all, in an INFINITE Uni-verse the thought that there isn’t enough is just a straight lie. The Uni-verse is naturally abundant; it is we, the humans, who don’t understand this, and as a result create the temporary “experience” of lack. But, if we look deeper, we will see lack is just a belief we’ve bought into. Don’t believe me? Try to count all the grains of sand on a beach, or all the cells in your body. There are TRILLIONS of cells in your body and even more grains of sand on this earth. Some of the wealthiest people became wealthy during recessions and the Great Depression. Even recently companies like Groupon (which Google offered to buy for BILLIONS and was turned down) and Facebook are thriving and experienced huge growth during the recession. This isn’t about lack of resources, love or friendship in the world. This is about a lack of inner love, possibility and friendship. When you truly belong to yourself, when you trust your Higher Power, when you accept yourself, claim your talents and see possibility in the world, life starts to change. Lack is an inner experience, not an outer reality. The reason why there is lack in the world is because human beings are not in alignment with the natural way of things. The majority of us are driven by fear and the belief in lack and separation from each other, so that is what most of us experience. But we, the Seekers on The Path perceive differently. We believe and experience an infinite supply. We are already connected to all that we wish to manifest. We leave room for miracles, synchronicity and Grace to show up in our lives. We are co-Creators of our lives and so we are not victims of the way most people believe life to be. We know there is more than enough out there and that we are more than enough “in here”. So there is no chase. There is only enjoyment of the present moment. When we want a new experience, we shift our intention, change our actions and persist with faith that all things are being done for our greatest good. This shift from lack to abundance thinking is a game changer. Try it for one year, make your thoughts, intentions, actions and beliefs line up with the natural abundance of The Uni-verse and see what happens. I can promise you this, dear Reader- life will NEVER be the same again! Love, Mastin |

Here where I am by Paulo Coelho
After having won many archery contests, the town champion went to the Zen master.
- I am the best of all – he said. – I didn’t study religion, never sought help from the monks, and succeeded in becoming the finest archer in the whole region. I heard that, for a time, you were the best archer in the region, and ask you: was it necessary to become a monk in order to learn to shoot?
- No – replied the Zen master.
But the champion was not satisfied: he took an arrow, placed it in the bow, fired it and hit a cherry which was very far away. Smiling, as if to say: “you might have saved your time, devoting yourself only to technique.” And he said:
- I doubt whether you could do that.
Without looking in the least bit worried, the master went inside, fetched his bow, and began to walk towards a nearby mountain.
On the way, there was an abyss which could only be crossed by an old bridge made of rotting rope, and which was almost collapsing.
The Zen master went to the middle of the bridge, took his bow and placed an arrow in it, then aimed at a tree on the far side of the precipice, and hit his target.
- Now it is your turn – he kindly told the young man, as he returned to firm ground.
Terrified as he gazed down at the abyss below his feet, the young man went to the spot and fired, but his arrow veered wide of the mark.
- That is why the discipline of meditation was worthwhile – concluded the master, when the young man returned to him.
“You may have great skill with the instrument you choose for your livelihood, but it is useless, if you cannot command the mind which uses that instrument.”

Travels
From the Warrior of the Light Online by Paulo Coelho:
One of the people on the train shows me a prayer that she said was found among the personal belongings of a Jew who died in a concentration camp.
It read: “Lord, when you come in Your glory, do not remember only the men of goodwill; also remember the men of ill will. And, on Judgment Day, do not remember only the cruelty, abuse and violence that they carried out, but the fruit produced because of what they did to us. Remember the patience, courage, brotherhood, humility, generosity of spirit and faithfulness that our executioners awoke in our souls. And then, Lord, pray that the fruits that we have produced may serve to save the souls of men of evil.”

Where are you weekend?
Girl: Where are you weekend?
WK: I am right here…
Girl: But you seem so far…How far are you?
WK: I am about four days away from you. Did you want me to come to you or are you going to come to me?
Girl: Well, which way will I reach you faster?
WK: Honestly, both ways are the same, just four days away…
Girl: So, if it is the same each way, why did you ask me which way to choose? [Girl is trying to ponder on the answer]
WK: Well, my young one. If you decided to come to me, that shows you are willing to act no matter how far or close I am to you. If you decided for me to come to you, that shows you have decided to wait for things to happen to you. And if you wait for things to happen, you will continue to wait…“Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for; it is a thing to be achieved.”
Girl: I AM ON MY WAY! [Girl dancing her way to the weekend...]

Telepathy
Telepathy
When I was little, there was a kids tv show that I LOVED to watch. It had to do with certain kids having the ability to teleport from one place to another in an instant, and even communicate via telepathy amongst each other who had the same ability. Since then, to the present time, I always believed in the power of telepathy.
It’s funny how I always felt that I needed to turn a certain age to fulfill my destiny with a better understanding of my gift (I felt this theory on a different kids tv show [Sabrina the Teenage Witch]). There was also a feeling that for those who have already reached their age, they see me and are waiting patiently for me to realize my gift so that I may join them. I felt that realizing and understanding ones’ gift is going to happen at a different age for everyone. Because it has to flow on its own; in due timing. And of course when I heard about ROCK THE ERA, I immediately knew this was a STRONG SIGN. Then a few days ago, I began to ponder on my theory of Telepathy again. I know that I can feel people’s energy and could even detect what it is that they are feeling. I could not know why they are feeling, but always WHAT they are feeling. And from there I have learned that everyone has the same gift, we are all capable of achieving [enlightenment]. So with that being said, people can communicate via their energy and do not even have to speak a word.
What I have now written about telepathy, I was pondering about this in my Kung Fu class as I was practicing my form in silence. And with that practice it reminded me of a short tale I recently read:
In the Huelgas Monastery
Sister Begona Miguel of the Huelgas Monastery says, “San Juan de La Cruz teaches us that silence has its own music; it is silence that enables us to see ourselves and the things around us. I would like to add that there are words that can only be said in silence, odd as that may seem. To compose their symphonies, the great geniuses needed silence – and they managed to transform this silence into divine sounds. Philosophers and scientists need silence. In the monastery, at night, we practice what we call The Great Silence. In the absence of speech we can understand what lies beyond.”
Have a great day!

Martin Luther King, Jr.
The curse of poverty has no justification in our age. It is socially as cruel and blind as the practice of cannibalism at the dawn of civilization, when men ate each other because they had not yet learned to take food from the soil or to consume the abundant animal life around them. The time has come for us to civilize ourselves by the total, direct and immediate abolition of poverty.Man was born into barbarism when killing his fellow man was a normal condition of existence. He became endowed with a conscience. And he has now reached the day when violence toward another human being must become as abhorrent as eating another’s flesh.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Hate multiplies hate, violence multiplies violence, and toughness multiplies toughness in a descending spiral of destruction….The chain reaction of evil–hate begetting hate, wars producing more wars–must be broken, or we shall be plunged into the dark abyss of annihilation. Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man’s sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true.
We must combine the toughness of the serpent and the softness of the dove, a tough mind and a tender heart.
Martin Luther King, Jr. (January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968)

SHRINK THE EARTH: Appreciation
If we could shrink the earth population to a village of 100 people, with all the existing human ratios remaining the same, it would look something like the following;
57 Asians, 21 Europeans, 14 from the Western Hemisphere, both north and south,8 Africans
52 would be female, 48 would be male
70 would be non-white, 30 would be white
70 would be non-Christian, 30 would be Christian
89 would be heterosexual, 11 would be homosexual
6 people would possess 59% of the entire world’s wealth and all 6 would be from the United States.
80 would live in substandard housing, 70 unable to read 50 would suffer from malnutrition
1 would be near death, 1 would be near birth
1 would have a college education; 1 would own a computer. When one considers our world from such a compressed perspective, the need for acceptance, understanding and education becomes glaringly apparent. The following is also something to ponder… If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than the millions who will not survive this week. If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation … you are ahead of 500 million people in the world. If you can attend a religious meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torturer death…you are more blessed than three billion people in the world. If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep…you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace you are among the top 8% of the worlds wealthy. If your parents are still alive and still married you are very rare, even in the United States and Canada. If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you, and furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.
